Lynton, Lynmouth, Exmoor and the coastal cliffs, which are amongst the highest in England, provide fantastic places to walk.
We offer a choice of ways in which you can get out.
Many walks can be taken from North Walk House and require no driving. You can park and leave your car for days with us. The house provides fully equipped accommodation with drying facilities.
- Ian and Sarah are very happy to chat about where would be suitable for you, your wishes (and fitness) while you are staying with us
- We offer self guided walking holidays with guided routes along coastal, cliffside paths, moorland plateaus and river valleys with fast flowing streams (the wetter the weather, the faster the stream!).
- Or if you click on the Walkers are Welcome bar below, a range of different ideas are available
- We can offer guidance with the help of Ordnance Survey maps, locally produced maps or with planned, written up, self guided walks for you to follow for a day. The walks are tried and tested with easy to follow route directions. We are very happy to spend time talking about ideas and chatting through variations and learning from you how we can vary our offerings.
There are a number of long distance paths around which finish (or start!) in Lynton and the Coleridge Way has just been extended, starting in Nether Stowey and finishing here.
